New Orleans French Quarter Hitching Post

As I was walking around the French Quarter I was attracted to these lovely hitching posts.  They are not all the same design.  These two were my favorites.  Such proud horses captured in time and saved to be enjoyed.

My stay was incredible.  I was at The Saint, which boarders the Financial district and the French Quarter and is on Canal at Burgundy.  Look at this amazing room.

Note the huge mirror for a headboard! wow.

I like to eat at The Green Goddess.  Fish specials, apple-sweet potato cobbler with pecan ice cream and an excellent wine list await you.
