There are two equinoxes every year – in March and September – when the Sun shines directly on the equator and the length of night and day are nearly equal.

As a person born on the Virgo/libra cusp, I am a perfectionist desparately seeking balance.  To day is the day the earth finds her balance.  Let us take a moment to breathe that in.

The Light and the dark in balance.  Let us reach for this equalibrium, feeling ourselves poised and peaceful.  Let us embrace the whole of life, with all of it’s resiliance, strength, as the constant day and night are always moving forward, be amazed at its continuous energy as it is a joy and inspiration.  There is always the hope of the first ray of sunlight after the darkest night.  And today we are in balance.
