It is always running the edge of the sword to go off to Camp Crucible for 10 days and come back with my coffers in order for June.  My patrons, I could not take time out for pony play without you.  My complete gratitude to you, there aren’t enough thank you’s for your support, you are deeply appreciated.

There is a person on my block that comes to wash my car about every two weeks.  He charges $10 and i give him $20 because my car is always so dirty with dog hair and my travles.  He does this service for many people in my neighborhood.  I think it is amazing.  I am blessed and my car is clean because of his need to serve.  Even though he asks a nominal fee, it’s really not very much, maybe covers the products he uses.  Some people have a calling to serve and they find a way to express it.  This man inspires me.

My Pony, Speckles has started practicing with me in the morning again.  This is such a fabulous way to begin a day.  Up early to the park by 7:30 am, runnin around, trainin gmy Pony.  It feels so good.  I am very thankful.

Airplane flights and hotel costs are high at this time and there wasn’t enough pre-booking with deposits paid to take a trip to Boston.  See you in October!

From Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment comes the epic action adventure starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, directed by Patty Jenkins.

At first in the promo videos, I thought the male lead was played by Matt Damon and I wasn’t thrilled.  Chris Pine being the leading man improved my outlook (when it was pointed out to me) immensely.

I saw it twice in the theater and ordered the combo pack.  

I love everything about this movie, the strong and beautiful Wonder Woman, the villian played by an actor i didn’t guess as being the villian before the movie, the cinemaphotography, the action, the costumes, and I love the supporting characters.  The story suspends reality for me.  It is just all brilliant.  .

The trailers for this movie were awful.  The movie itself was great fun.  I loved the new young woman lead being smart, savy and beautiful.  that improves a movie 1000% from the get go.  I loved her story and how it was interwoven and the dots were not connected/revealed until late in the film.  I liked the spunky young Turner.  I have always rooted for Will and and his beloved, Elizabeth Swan.

I cancelled my trip to Chicago, as plans finalized to shoot 3 videos for The Score Group with some magazine stills included in the bundle.  I am always amazed how they want to make me look different than I do everyday and different from each shoot.  Good times.  I have one more to do on Friday.  I am looking forward to it.  The photographer and make up artist are very wonderful to work with.

I liked it.  It is a nice little film that makes you think about the value of life, animal and human.  It isn’t the most brutal or cut-throat protrayal of the Holocaust but it does tell of the real-life story of one working wife and mother who became a hero to hundreds during World War II. In 1939 Poland, Antonina Żabińska (portrayed by  Jessica Chastain) and her husband, Dr. Jan Żabiński (Johan Heldenbergh), have the Warsaw Zoo flourishing under his stewardship and her care. When their country is invaded by the Germans, Jan and Antonina are stunned – and forced to report to the Reich’s newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck (Daniel Brühl of “Captain America: Civil War”). To fight back on their own terms, Antonina and Jan covertly begin working with the Resistance – and put into action plans to save lives out of what has become the Warsaw Ghetto, with Antonina putting herself and even her children at great risk.

I found the opening scenes of everyday life and Antonia’s relationship with the animals heart warming. This is a warm, loving zoo.  To see what happens to these animals is heartbreaking.  That is only the beginning, as the Jews in Warsaw are moved to the ghetto and they are next.

Antonina Żabińska and Dr. Jan Żabiński saved 300 people.  They are heros.  I enjoyed knowing about them.
